Conference Best
Presentation Awards:

The International Society of Electrochemistry will award the Best Oral and Best Poster presentations given by PhD students and young researchers up to the age of 30. More details in the page Conference Awards.

Conference Accommodation Grants:

The Hyceltec 2017 Organizing Committee will offer some accommodation grants to a number of presenting PhD students up to the age of 30. More details in the page Conference Awards.

Guidelines for Submission

Preliminary Important Notes
Abstracts for Hyceltec 2017 must be submitted online through a specific platform. To access it, you should proceed with the Hyceltec 2017 Online Registration.
You will receive in the following an e-mail with the necessary credentials to manage your personal account, namely to submit abstracts. During the submission period, you may change or delete your abstracts.

Before submitting your abstract, you are asked to read carefully the information described in the following.

 

Abstract Preparation

The abstracts SHOULD be submitted in “pdf” format. This way, problems with symbols, characters, text layout, etc., are avoided. Moreover, this will make the task of editing the Conference Proceedings easier.
A MS Word template is provided as an example to help you write down your two-page abstract – “TemplateAbstractHyceltec2017.doc”. Instructions are written in red, for a better visualization. You only need to download the template and replace the text/tables/figures by your own work. Please be sure you have the text font used in the template - Calibri - installed in your machine. Please don’t change any format. It is important to strictly follow the format of this template in order to ensure that all abstract contributions have the same style in the proceedings book.
The file “TemplateAbstractHyceltec2017.pdf”, obtained directly from the MSWord file, shows how your abstract should look like.
The first page of your abstract should be filled accordingly with the information requested. In order to make the peer-review process as simple and fast as possible, please make special attention to the choice of the topics that better fits your work. 
A file size limitation of 20 Mb is applied for submission. If your file is larger, you may reduce the resolution of pictures or other elements included in your manuscript.

File Naming

Your pdf file should be named according to the following convention: Surname_Name.pdf (e.g.,   Barroso_Jon.pdf), being Jon Barroso the presenting author.
If you submit more than one abstract to Hyceltec 2017, please numerate the abstracts with a number at the end of the file name (e.g., Barroso_Jon_1.pdf, Barroso_Jon_2.pdf, and so on).
