Conference Best
Presentation Awards:

The International Society of Electrochemistry will award the Best Oral and Best Poster presentations given by PhD students and young researchers up to the age of 30. More details in the page Conference Awards.

Conference Accommodation Grants:

The Hyceltec 2017 Organizing Committee will offer some accommodation grants to a number of presenting PhD students up to the age of 30. More details in the page Conference Awards.

Visa Issues

Portugal is a country belonging to the European Union and a member of the Schengen Agreement. All third-country nationals subject to visa requirement to enter or transit through the territory of Schengen members are required to have a valid passport are strongly advised to make their application in their home country with enough time before the intended date of travel. 

In The Schengen Office, you can obtain information regarding the countries that need a visa to enter a Schengen country. For further information, please contact your nearest Portuguese/Schengen Embassy or Consulate or even your travel agency for details about the exact visa requirements, dates of entrance and exit the country (case something goes wrong), etc. To find the Portuguese embassy or consulate closest to you, please visit Embassy Information - Republic of Portugal.
